Quicktime is not installed. | Click the Browser Checkup tab above. Scroll down the page and click on the "Get Quicktime" button. Download and install the Quicktime Player software then sign in again. |

| I just installed a new version of the Shockwave software. The next time I viewed instruction or started a test, a security warning popped up. Is this a problem? What should I do with it? ![]() |
This is not a problem. It is a security measure built into Shockwave to help prevent some types of online misconduct. |
The first time this security dialog appears, select Allow future access from this location by any movie.. Click the Allow button |
| When I play an Instruction or Test, the audio seems to cutoff or clips the last few words. | This problem can surface due to numerous factors. | To fix this problem you must reduce Hardware Acceleration or set to None. Windows 98/ME: From the Control Panel, click on Multimedia => Audio tab => Playback => Advanced Properties => Performance => Hardware Acceleration. Move the slider to the left or set to None. Windows 2000: From the Control Panel, click on Sounds and Multimedia => Audio tab => under Sound Playback, click Advanced button => Performance tab. Move the slider to the left or set to None. Windows XP: From the Control Panel, click on Sounds and Audio Devices => Audio tab => Advanced button => Performance tab. Move the slider to the left or set to None. |
| The Instruction or Test is Frozen and does not Play. | This problem is usually the result of either the Temporary Internet files becoming too full, there is a missing or corrupted multimedia file, or you are using an outdated version of the Multimedia Support CD-ROM. | To delete or clear your Temporary Internet files follow these instructions. If you are using the Multimedia Support CD-ROM and you suspect that one of the file is either missing or corrupted, use the CD-ROM to reinstall the multimedia files to your computer. If you are using the Multimedia Support CD-ROM version 3.4, but the files are out of date, you can either contact MasterTask to receive an new CD-ROM or you can download and install a small application that will update the multimedia files on your computer to the latest version.
